End of the first week...

 Hi readers,

So today marks the end of my first week in Spain, and what a week it's been! I've become a regular in a café called 'casa Refa', I've taught all years from nursery to Year 11, found a 6 storey shopping centre, and had an amazing yet slightly scary experience in the town centre!

So, if you read my previous blog, you'll already know about casa Refa, and my first 3 days of teaching. Below, you'll find some pictures of Casa Refa...

So, where to start? Honestly, all I can think about is how much I'm missing my boyfriend and how badly I want him here with me, that's not to say I'm not enjoying my time here, cause I am! I love teaching the kids, I've always wanted to teach secondary, but it turns out, I also love teaching nursey! Who would have thought? 😂

I've already made a routine here, so it starts: waking up, getting breakfast, texting my boyfriend, going to work, going to casa Refa, getting dinner, video calling my boyfriend until 9 PM (sometimes sooner if I decide to go out with the others), having tea, then texting my boyfriend, then going to sleep. All the early starts does mean that at the weekend, I sleep in until about midday! 😱

This weekend, I did a bit of exploring of the city, and I found some picturesque places, and also visited the MUSAC museum:

Hope you enjoyed those photos. So today, other than exploring the town a little more, I was also sorting out what I'm gonna do on the 22nd May when I fly home, early I know, but I like being prepared, and the sooner your book stuff, the cheaper it tends to be 😂

So, I booked the train for the Monday, but still need to book a hotel for Sunday night, though I have one in mind, I just need to discuss with family first, so that's one less thing to worry about now. Tomorrow will be a day of lesson planning for the week, and sorting some stuff out with my university about my year abroad in September, cause we have a meeting but I'll still be in Spain. So many things to do, but it's all worth it in the end!
